Ministers of the European Union countries are discussing the issue of denial of Schengen visas to Russians. This may happen by the end of this month. The journalist of "Radio Liberty" Rikard Jozwiak announced about it on Twitter.
According to him, the prohibition of visas for Russian citizens will be discussed by the EU ministers at the meeting in Praza to be held by the end of September. However, the journalist believes that the EU countries will probably not be able to reach an agreement.
The commission’s new sanctions package proposal has been sent to member states. Looks set to be adopted by EU ambassadors on Wed. Called “maintenance & alignment package” it contains measures on gold, more listings, derogations and closing loopholes. #Russia #Ukraine
