At present, it is impossible to end the war diplomatically. Ukraine will be able to resume negotiations with Russia only on condition of withdrawal of troops, including Crimea. This was stated by the adviser to the OP chairman Mykhailo Podolyak, the President's Office reports.

 "Russia does not want to negotiate - it only issues ultimatums. If the Russian army leaves the entire territory of Ukraine, including Crimea, negotiations can resume," he said.

 Podolyak also emphasized that the so-called "referendums" and the annexation of occupied territories by Russia mean nothing to Ukraine. These regions remain Ukrainian, despite Russia's illegal actions.

 "Referendums have no legal force according to international law. And Ukraine is ready to do anything to return them. Our people are asking us for this. These were fake votes to which they had nothing to do," said the adviser to the head of the OP.

 According to him, the chances of a nuclear conflict are small, but they still exist. Podoliak added that in the event of a nuclear attack, the consequences would be catastrophic, and the response would have to be given, in particular, within the framework of the EU and NATO.
