The Russian occupiers are retreating in a number of directions in the south of Ukraine, while continuing to fire and psychologically pressure the local civilian population, the Operational Command "South" reported on Sunday.

 "In the southern direction, the situation remains difficult, but controlled by the Defense Forces. Our troops continue fire control of the occupied territory, defeating the areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment of the enemy, its control points and logistical facilities... The enemy is trying to defend itself, but in some directions, he is forced to retreat, leaving positions. Not thriving on the front line, man-made blackmail, fire and psychological pressure on the civilian population of the rear regions continues," says the summary on the Facebook page of OC "South".

 Ukrainian missile and artillery units performed 196 fire missions, providing support for the advance of troops. The final losses of the enemy in manpower, weapons and equipment are specified.

 "The threat of missile strikes, kamikaze drone attacks, sabotage activities and their manifestations, as well as artillery fire, remains relevant," the command warned.
