Today, February 4, Ukraine returned another 116 people from Russian captivity. Among them are defenders of Mariupol, Kherson partisans, snipers from the Bakhmut direction and other heroes.

This was reported by the Telegram channel of the head of the OP Andriy Yermak.

According to him, it was possible to return home 87 soldiers of the Armed Forces, two of whom are from the SSO.

It is also about eight soldiers of the Military Intelligence Service, seven from the National Guard, six from the National Police, five from the State Security Service, two from the Navy and one representative of the State Emergency Service.

Among them are two officers and 114 privates and sergeants.

At the same time, Ukraine managed to return the bodies of the dead foreign volunteers, namely: Christopher Matthew Perry and Andrew Tobias Matthew.

Also returned was the body of a fallen volunteer Ukrainian soldier who served in the French Foreign Legion and returned to defend Ukraine after the start of a full-scale Russian invasion - Kulyk Yevgeny Olegovych.

We will remind that before this, the Russian side announced the exchange of prisoners. They said that the Russian Federation allegedly managed to return 63 of its soldiers.

It should be added that earlier the ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets appealed to the relatives of the prisoners not to mention their surnames in order not to complicate the work of returning the soldiers home.
