A group of Ukrainian military personnel arrived in Britain for training on AS90 self-propelled guns.

 This was announced by the Ministry of Defense of Great Britain on Monday.

 "Congratulations to the Ukrainian military who arrived in the UK this weekend to master the AS90. The British AS90 is an armored self-propelled artillery system that the UK is providing to Ukraine to help it defend its homeland and regain territory," the ministry said in a statement.

 At the end of January, Ukrainian tank crews arrived in Great Britain for training on Challenger 2 tanks.

 On January 15, Britain confirmed plans to transfer to Ukraine a squadron of 14 Challenger 2 tanks and about 30 155 mm AS90 self-propelled guns.

 British Deputy Defense Minister Alex Chalk expressed hope that Challenger 2 tanks will arrive in Ukraine at the end of March.
