The Russian military continues to carry out assaults in the Bakhmut area, the battles often turn into close confrontations. However, the Ukrainian military is on the defensive.

 The Russians do not stop trying to capture Bakhmut. They are also trying to break through Ukrainian defenses in the Kupyan and Lyman areas. In addition, the invaders are carrying out unsuccessful offensive actions in the Avdiyiv, Marin and Shakhtar directions.

 At the same time, the number of assaults and attacks near Donetsk has significantly decreased compared to last week. This is probably due to the fact that the invaders are trying to recover their losses for further offensive actions.

 Meanwhile, the occupiers are defending themselves in the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson directions.

 It should be noted that according to ISW, the Ukrainian military counterattacked west of Svatovo, and the Russian army is advancing in the Bakhmut area.
