The leader of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, said that he always felt the support of Russia.
As Interfax reports, the Chinese leader said this during a meeting with the Russian dictator.
"The Chinese side pays great attention to the development of Sino-Russian relations, as this has its own historical logic, as we are the largest neighboring countries, we are partners in comprehensive strategic cooperation, and it is this status that determines what our countries have to have close relations," Xi Jinping said.
"I am very grateful to you for the fact that you always have a positive attitude towards us over the past years regarding the development and construction of China. You always support us. Of course, we feel it. We are grateful to you," he told Putin.
Xi Jinping noted that Russia and China have "many of the same or similar goals in their desire to move forward."
It will be recalled that on March 20, the meeting between the Russian dictator Putin and the President of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, began in the Kremlin.
