All NATO countries have ratified Finland's application to join the Alliance - Prime Minister

Finland's application to join NATO was ratified by all members of the North Atlantic Alliance, which paves the way for the country's full membership in the bloc.

 

 Prime Minister of Finland Sanna Marin announced this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

 

 "Finland's application has been ratified by all members so far, and we will join NATO. Thank you to all countries for their support. As allies, we will provide and receive security. We will protect each other," wrote Marin.

 

 She added that Finland supports Sweden and its application to join NATO.

 

 As reported, on March 30, the draft law approving the protocol of Finland's accession to NATO was adopted by the General Assembly of the Grand National Assembly (Parliament) of Turkey.

 

 On March 27, the Parliament of Hungary ratified Finland's application to join the North Atlantic Alliance (NATO).
