Zelensky inspects Leopard 2 tanks and CV-90 infantry fighting vehicles on the front line

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited the front line and inspected Leopard 2 tanks and CV-90 infantry fighting vehicles that took part in the battles in the Kupyansk direction. This was reported by the President's Office.


Zelensky visited the reservoir of the 21st Separate Mechanized Brigade, where he got acquainted with the equipment delivered to Ukraine by Western partners. This equipment includes Leopard 2 tanks and CV-90 infantry fighting vehicles, which were actively used in the battles in the Kupyansk direction.


The President had conversations with the crews of tanks and infantry fighting vehicles. He also listened to a report by the commander of the Lyman operational tactical group, Oleksandr Hruzevych, on the current operational situation in the area of responsibility.


Zelensky received information about the priority needs of the units, among which the military most often mentioned front-line air defense and electronic warfare equipment and certain types of ammunition. The need to simplify regulatory procedures and eliminate bureaucratic obstacles that impede recruitment was also emphasized.


As part of the visit, the President presented awards to the military and doctors who showed courage and professionalism while defending Ukraine.
