Bus accident in Venice: 4 Ukrainians died

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has announced the number of Ukrainians who died in a tourist bus accident in Venice. Four Ukrainians died, not five, as previously reported by the media. Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Oleg Nikolenko told RBC-Ukraine in a commentary.


Four more were injured. According to preliminary reports, a tourist bus with 40 passengers crashed through a fence, fell off an overpass and fell from a 10-meter height onto the railway tracks in the Mestre area.


In total, at least 21 people died and 12 injured. Italy has already completed the identification of the victims.
