The heads of the US Treasury, Pentagon and State Department have called on Congress to allocate $11.8 billion to finance aid to Ukraine. This is stated in a statement by the officials, according to The Guardian.


"This funding is backed by an unprecedented level of robust oversight and transparency and is supported by significant budgetary support from the European Union, other G7 partners, and the International Monetary Fund," Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, and Secretary emphasized in a letter to congressional leaders.
