The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has announced its estimate of the number of Russian troops in Ukraine. This was announced by intelligence representative Andriy Chernyak, Liga.net reports.

According to the GUR, 473 thousand Russian soldiers are currently fighting in Ukraine.

Of these, 443,000 are part of the Russian army and 30,000 are part of the Russian Guard.

As a reminder, the day before, Vladimir Putin said that 617,000 Russian troops were fighting against Ukraine on the contact line.
