Russians launch missile attack on Smila near Cherkasy: there are wounded (UPDATED)

Today, on December 29, the Russian army launched a missile attack on the city of Smila in Cherkasy region. There are casualties as a result of the attack. This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy RMA Ihor Taburets.

 

 

"As a result of the enemy attack, a rocket hit the residential sector," the statement said.


According to him, 12 houses were damaged.


"There are currently 6 victims. All services are working at the scene," the head of the region added.

Eight people were injured in Smila, Cherkasy region, as a result of a missile attack by Russian occupiers. There is one child among them. This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets, on Telegram.

 

 

"As of this moment, there are 8 victims, including a child. According to preliminary information, 51 houses were damaged. The survey is ongoing," the official wrote.


According to him, an emergency response headquarters has already been set up in a local school. They have equipped places for residents of the damaged houses and provided food.


Temporary accommodation is also being prepared.
