Russian occupants have a new goal in the Maryinka direction. They want to take control of the village of Novomykhailivka, Donetsk region. This was reported by the spokesman of the Tavria Defense Forces Oleksandr Shtupun during a telethon.


"The enemy is most active in the Maryinka and Avdiivka directions. In particular, it is trying to surround Avdiivka, and now it has a goal - it is trying to enter Novomykhailivka to take it completely," noted Shtupun.


The speaker added that over the past week, the Russians have carried out more than fifty attacks in this area on average per day.


He also emphasized that the occupiers have intensified the use of armored vehicles and violent air strikes. Over the past day, the enemy conducted 41 air strikes.
