On the morning of March 7, Russian invaders tried to attack Odesa region. The missile did not reach the coast. This was reported by the Southern Ukrainian Defense Forces on Telegram.

The Russians fired an X-31P missile from tactical aircraft from the Black Sea. It did not reach target.

"The missile lost its combat capability on approach to the coast. No damage or casualties were reported," the statement said.

The southern defense forces emphasize that the enemy continues to use targeted missile strikes to test and reconnoiter Ukraine's air defense.

"Be careful and aware. When warned of danger, take shelter," the military warns.
