For several days in a row, the occupiers have been trying to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops in the lines of three brigades in the Avdiivka direction. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi visited the area and made a number of decisions. This was reported in Syrskyi's Telegram.
"I worked in the Avdiivka direction where the enemy has concentrated its main efforts and has been trying to break through the defense of our troops in the lines of three brigades for several days in a row, sending assault units on vehicles and on foot into battle every day," he said.
According to him, together with the commanders, they considered the best options for the actions of our troops, the maneuver of reserves, the provision of ammunition and other material resources.
"All necessary measures have been taken to strengthen the defense and organize constant interaction between all elements of the operational structure in this direction," the general stated.
