According to him, the enemy fired two Iskander-M (KN-23)/X-47M2 Kinzhal ballistic or aeroballistic missiles.
In addition, 11 Tu-95MS strategic bombers launched 29 X-101/X-555 cruise missiles from the areas of Volgodonsk and Engels.
The missiles approached the capital from the north.
"As a result of successful combat work, all enemy missiles were shot down in the Kyiv region," Oleshchuk said.
