Zelensky dismissed Danilov from the post of NSDC Secretary: who replaced him

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed Oleksiy Danilov from the post of Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine. This is reported in a decree of the head of state.


"Dismiss Danilov Oleksiy Myacheslavovych from the post of Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine," the document says. 


At the same time, Oleksandr Lytvynenko became the new Secretary of the NSDC. 


"To appoint Oleksandr Valeriyovych Lytvynenko as Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine," reads Decree No. 188/2024. 


Prior to that, Zelensky dismissed Lytvynenko from the post of head of the Foreign Intelligence Service.
