On the night of April 5, Russia suffered a massive drone attack, targeting cities with military airfields. The Russian Defense Ministry said that 44 of the drones were intercepted over the Rostov region, one each over the Saratov, Kursk, and Belgorod regions, and 6 over the Krasnodar Krai.
The explosions were heard in Morozovsk, Rostov region, and Yeysk, Krasnodar Krai. In the first city, there were problems with electricity. Morozovsk is home to an airfield from which tactical bombers carrying bombs take off. It is not yet known whether the planes were hit.
The regional authorities informed about the hit of the substation and caused a power outage.
In addition, explosions were heard in Engels, Saratov region, where enemy strategic aviation is based. Local authorities say there were no hits.
