SBU detains Shufrych's assistant who financed Russian Guard in Crimea

The Security Service of Ukraine has detained an assistant of MP Nestor Shufrych, who financed the Russian Guard in Crimea. The SBU reported this in Telegram.

 

 

"The Security Service has collected evidence against another person involved in the case of MP Nestor Shufrych, who is suspected of financing the Russian Guard in the temporarily occupied Crimea. According to the case file, this offender was responsible for the legal aspects of the arrangement. In particular, he was engaged in concluding a contract with the structures of the Russian Guard for the protection of elite real estate in Crimea controlled by the MP," the statement said.

 

Thus, the SBU informs, in just 3 months, more than half a million Russian rubles were transferred to the accounts of the occupiers. The purpose of the payments is to provide "paramilitary security services" for the MP's facilities on the peninsula.
