New military supplies to Kyiv are needed for long-range attacks inside Russia, - British Army Commander

In an interview with the Financial Times, British Chief of Defence Tony Radakin said that the new military aid packages to Kyiv are aimed at strengthening "long-range attacks inside Russia." In his opinion, this will allow Ukraine to wage war "in a much more decisive way."

"I understand that all this is less comfortable if you are in Kyiv. It is also necessary to admit that Russia was able to launch more effective long-range strikes than last year," Radakin said.

He "did not express any obvious concern about Ukrainian attacks and sabotage raids inside Russia." Radakin is convinced that people should stop "glorifying Russia" and believing that it "somehow has great advantages."

"As Ukraine gains more capabilities for long-range warfare... its ability to continue deep operations is increasingly becoming a feature of the war," Radakin said, adding that "they definitely have an impact."
