AFU are prepared for defense: main Russian attack is aimed at Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, said that the main forces of Russian troops are concentrated in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions. This information came from him via his Facebook page.

 

 

He also added that due to the difficult situation in the east, he had been working personally for two days in the units that actively defend these directions.


Syrskyi emphasized the need to hold defensive lines and positions using all available means to inflict maximum losses on the enemy and gain time to form and prepare reserves.


In addition, the Commander-in-Chief worked with unit commanders and took a number of measures to strengthen defense.


On the eve of Infantry Day, he also awarded the best soldiers who distinguished themselves in battles with Russian troops.
