Russia stops using the Crimean bridge to supply its group in Ukraine - The Independent

Russia is no longer using the Crimean bridge to supply troops in Ukraine and it is no longer an important military target for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. This is stated in the material of The Independent.

According to the publication, satellite images show that Moscow has switched to using land routes in the east and south of Ukraine to supply its front lines after repeated attacks on the Kerch Bridge.

“Analysis of satellite images shows that the bridge, which Russia built after the annexation of Crimea in 2014, has almost no traffic (of military cargo) and therefore can no longer represent an important military objective for the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” the article says.

Satellite images show that almost no military freight trains have been running on the bridge's rail line for three months. During this period, on February 29, only one Russian freight train carrying about 55 cars of fuel was seen on the bridge.

Earlier, we reported that Russia had completed the construction of a new railroad from the port of Mariupol to Volnovakha.
