The press service of the Ministry of Defense reported that the Defense Procurement Agency of the Ministry of Defense has successfully signed new contracts for the purchase of 4200 DJI Mavic 3E UAVs with additional equipment.
The total number of contracted DJI Mavic drones now stands at 8200, including 7200 DJI Mavic 3E and 1000 DJI Mavic 3T. The value of the contracts amounted to UAH 1.1 billion.
According to the results of the auctions on Prozorro, the average price per drone was UAH 126.3 thousand for DJI Mavic 3E and UAH 194.2 thousand for DJI Mavic 3T.
Maryna Bezrukova, Director of the Defense Procurement Agency, emphasized that these purchases saved more than UAH 65 million from the expected cost.
Also, as of May 20, successful auctions for an additional 4000 DJI Mavic 3E and 1500 DJI Mavic 3T UAVs have already been held, and contracts are expected to be signed.
