The Verkhovna Rada dismissed Dmytro Razumkov

At a sitting on Thursday, October 7, MPs voted for the resignation of Verkhovna Rada Chairman Dmytro Razumkov. The resignation of the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada was previously initiated by the largest parliamentary faction, the Servant of the People.

 

284 people's deputies voted for his resignation, 215 of them from the «Servant of the People». Another 20 votes were cast by deputies from Batkivshchyna, 19 from the For the Future parliamentary group and 18 from the Dovira group. In addition, the Voice and non-partisan parties also cast six votes each.

 

At the same time, seven Servants of the People deputies voted against the decision. 23 from the «Opposition Platform – For Life», 27 from the «European Solidarity», one from the «Fatherland», eight from the «Voice» and eight more non-partisan.
