Entrepreneurs in villages are allowed to work without cash registers

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has released entrepreneurs who are engaged in retail trade in rural areas from the mandatory use of registers of cash transactions (CRR). This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy. The corresponding decision was taken by the government on December 23.

However, there are certain conditions. We are talking about trade in all commodities, except for excisable goods. In addition, an entrepreneur must have a limit of 167 minimum wages for the annual volume of settlement transactions.

According to the head of the ministry Yulia Sviridenko, the level of income of entrepreneurs in the villages is much lower than in cities, and it has decreased even more under the quarantine restrictions.

Therefore, the cost of purchasing EDB will be an additional financial burden for them, which will have negative consequences for business.

And using software-based RFBs as an alternative will not solve the problem because of the uneven coverage of high-speed Internet or its absence in the villages.

"Therefore, the government decided to support such entrepreneurs so that they would not close their business and fire their employees, and give them the opportunity not to use RFBs in their activities," Sviridenko explained.
