Up to 60 hryvnias per cubic meter: gas suppliers raised tariffs in January

Gas supply companies in Ukraine have announced monthly gas tariffs for households in January 2022. However, most suppliers still refuse monthly plans, leaving only an annual offer, which is valid until April 30, 2022.

 

This is evidenced by data on the companies' websites.

 

Monthly prices offered by companies for January are as high as 60 hryvnias per cubic meter. "TAS Energy Country" offers gas at 57.5 hryvnia per cubic meter, (in December and November 2021 - 38.35 hryvnia, in October - 30.06 hryvnia, in September 20.96 hryvnia per cubic meter).

 

However, there are more profitable offers on the market. In particular, Galnaftogaz has kept the monthly tariff for January at UAH 7.99 per cubic meter.

 

Most suppliers refused from monthly tariffs, leaving only an annual offer. In particular, this applies to companies under the brand Tvoi Gasbyt, which account for most of the market. Neither does Naftogaz of Ukraine offer monthly tariffs.

 

Annual tariff plans remain significantly more favorable. Basic fixed prices, as before, will range from 7.80 to 13.50 hryvnia per cubic meter. Most companies have set annual prices of up to 9 hryvnias per cubic meter. Several companies offer an annual tariff below 8 hryvnia, in particular, Naftogaz of Ukraine - 7.96 hryvnia per cubic meter.

 

As reported RBK-Ukraine, at the end of April, suppliers of gas to households announced their annual tariffs, which will be effective from May 1, 2021. The prices amounted to about 8 hryvnia per cubic meter and above. Suppliers have no right to increase these rates until May 2022.

 

The state-owned company Naftogaz of Ukraine is selling Naftogaz created a balancing group and within its framework offers gas to suppliers in the wholesale market for the needs of the population at 7.42 hryvnias per cubic meter. This price was formed back in the spring of 2021.
