Invasion of Ukraine and chemical weapons. The White House names topics the U.S. will discuss with Russia

The United States plans to raise the issue of invasion of neighboring countries during the upcoming series of negotiations with Russia. And also to discuss the use of chemical weapons on foreign territory.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing White House press secretary Jen Psaki during a briefing.

"We and our allies will be raising these and other issues with Russia in the coming days and weeks," she said.

It should be noted that Psaki also stressed during the briefing that the U.S. is not going to respond to Russian proposals point by point.

As a reminder, the U.S. continues to work on the preparation of negotiations with Russia regarding "security guarantees." However, not all of Moscow's demands can be accepted, including on NATO.

Earlier it became known that the U.S. talks with Russia on the so-called "security guarantees" will be held on January 10.

Also, "security guarantees" will be discussed during a meeting of the NATO-Russia Council, which is scheduled for January 12.
