"Ukrposhta" delivered another 30 tons of humanitarian aid from the U.S. to Ukraine

"Ukrposhta this week delivered 30 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine from the U.S. to Warsaw airport.

According to the company's report on Friday, this is the second plane to deliver humanitarian cargoes between New York and Warsaw within the framework of the charter program of Ukrposhta and WindRose.

On the board of the plane there was 30 tons of humanitarian aid (medicine and equipment totally worth $2 million), that's how much the US foundations and average Americans donated for Ukraine.

The humanitarian cargo to the U.S. is handled by Ukrposhta's partner DNIPRO LLC.

"We are grateful to our American friends and partners for helping Ukraine in this difficult time. Thanks to concerned Americans and well-coordinated work of people from several countries we managed to organize regular delivery of humanitarian cargoes. Already soon medicines and equipment will go to hospitals in Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, and other regions where they are needed," Ukrposhta director general was quoted in the company's statement Igor Smelyansky.

As reported, the first humanitarian cargo from the United States, transported by Ukrposhta flight, arrived in Ukraine on March 10. Twenty-four tons were delivered.
