Situation in Energodar: Russian troops fired at protesters, injuring four people

In the city of Energodar, Zaporizhzhia region, Russian soldiers shot and threw stun grenades at participants of a pro-Ukrainian rally who had gathered to protest against the occupiers in the city center.

This is reported by the Zaporizhzhya regional military administration and Energoatom.

According to the Ukrainian authorities, the Energodars sang the anthem, after which the occupiers used weapons against them. According to Energoatom's official telegram channel, at least four people were wounded from the shelling.

"Local medics are doing their best under the difficult conditions of almost complete lack of medicine and supplies and are trying to save their lives and health," the message reads.

A local Telegram channel reported that residents of the city came out for a peaceful rally in support of Ukraine. The Russian military began to detain the protesters. Shooting was heard in the center of the city.

It is also known that the occupants began to block mobile communications and Internet in Energodar.

We note that the city has been under occupation for almost a month, since March 3.

It should be recalled that in Energodar, an OPZZZ deputy-collaborator Andrei Shevchik created a "people's council" that has nothing to do with the jurisdiction of Ukraine.
