Another goal of the war against the Russian Federation in Ukraine was voiced by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. His country allegedly contributes to "freeing the world from the West".

He said this during an interview for Xinhua.

According to the official, the West is allegedly trying to obstruct the natural course of history.

"Our special military operation in Ukraine also contributes to the process of freeing the world from the neocolonial oppression of the West, densely mixed with racism and the exclusivity complex. The sooner the West comes to terms with the new geopolitical realities, the better it will be for itself and for the entire international community," Lavrov said.
