Martial law in Ukraine extended, Zelensky intends to continue general mobilization

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has submitted for parliamentary consideration two draft laws: on extending martial law and on the extension of general mobilization, the VR website has reported.

 

The first is a draft law on the approval of the presidential decree "On the extension of martial law in Ukraine" No. 7389 of 18 May.

 

The second is a draft law on the approval of the Decree of the President of Ukraine "On the extension of general mobilization" No. 7390 of May 18.

 

The Verkhovna Rada extended martial law, introduced on February 24, since the beginning of the Russian invasion, until May 25.
