Ukraine does not need surrogate candidate statuses in the EU, they demonstrate Europe's second-rate attitude - Kuleba

Ukraine does not need substitutes for candidate status to join the European Union. They will only show the second-rate attitude of Europe to our country.

Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba wrote about it in Twitter.

According to the diplomat, some EU member states practice strategic uncertainty of Ukraine's European perspective, but this policy has already failed and must stop.

"This has only encouraged Putin. We do not need EU candidate status substitutes that demonstrate a second-rate attitude toward Ukraine and hurt the feelings of Ukrainians," the minister pointed out.
