Danilov: Talking about the end of the war this month is frivolous, Russia is not that weak

Russia is not that weak. Those who say that the war will end in May are frivolous. The situation will depend on how Western partners supply Ukraine with the necessary weapons. Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov made this statement in an interview with NV.

"I want to note that I belong to those people who clearly understand that Russia is not as weak as we would like it to be. And those people who say that the war will end in May, or in a week - are frivolous. This is a very difficult and multi-component process, and the assistance of our partners with weapons is the key to defining the situation today. Depending on what will be delivered and when, the scales will swing to one side or the other," Danilov explained.

Now a certain parity has indeed been achieved - it is very difficult for the Russian army to move further into our territory, he noted.

"But I pay attention: what concerns strategic aviation planes, what concerns bombing our territory with missiles that have very powerful impressive capabilities, all this continues to work on us almost every day. The aggressor acts not only with aviation anymore, they involve submarines, the navy and many other military components," Danilov noted.
