Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has become the most influential man of 2022 according to the readers of Time magazine. This is evidenced by the voting results.
Zelensky received more votes from the readers of the American edition of Time. He won more than 3.3 million votes and took first place with 5% of the vote.
In second place was CEO of Tesla and SpaceX Ilon Musk with 3.5% of votes.
"When Russian troops launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February, Zelensky, a comedian with no political experience before being elected president of Ukraine in 2019, took to the world stage and rallied leaders to support Ukraine," the publication writes.
It should be noted that Zelensky is trusted by 72% of Americans polled by the Pew Research Center. This is the highest figure among all international leaders.
