The European Union has already begun work on new sanctions against Russia. This will be the seventh package since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Pawel Jablonski said this, PAP reported.
"The sanctions should be even tougher - in the context of the gas Russia can still sell, in the context of disconnecting all Russian banks from the SWIFT system. I'm talking mostly about Gazprombank and used by Russia in its industry," he said.
According to him, it is also necessary to impose an embargo on technology that Russia can supply and use in its industry.
Yablonsky stressed the need to confiscate Russian assets in Europe, not just freeze them. However, work on this issue is already underway.
