Kuleba named the countries that proposed to stop resisting Russia

Foreign leaders suggested that our country should stop resisting Russian aggression in order to obtain grain blocked by occupants in Ukrainian ports. We are talking about some leaders in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said this for Foreign Affairs.

"I talked to some decision makers in African, Arab and Asian countries. Some of them started the conversation with statements of support before making a sharp turn by politely suggesting that we just stop resisting," Kuleba says.

As the minister explains, the reasoning of such negotiators is understandable, because they want the grain that is stuck in Ukrainian ports because of the Russian blockade to be unblocked.

"And they are willing to sacrifice Ukrainian independence to get it," Kuleba said.

At the same time, he warned that the humanitarian crises in the world will only multiply if Ukraine is defeated.

"Therefore, we need not offer peace initiatives with unacceptable conditions, but instead help Ukraine win. This means not only providing our country with heavy weapons, but also maintaining and strengthening sanctions against Russia," Kuleba summarized.
