At least 953 children have suffered as a result of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, according to the Office of the Prosecutor General.

 

"More than 953 children have suffered in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation in our state. As of the morning of June 27, 2022, the official number of child victims has not changed during the day - 339. The number of wounded has increased - more than 614," the Office reported. .

 

The most injured children, as indicated, in the Donetsk region - 335, Kharkiv - 179, Kyiv - 116, Chernihiv - 68, Lugansk - 57, Kherson - 52, Mykolaiv - 48, Zaporizhzhia - 31, Sumy - 17.

 

These figures are not final, as work is under way to establish them in places of active combat operations, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

 

For example, on June 26, the Russian armed forces fired rockets into the Shevchenko district of Kyiv. A little girl was wounded and rescuers retrieved her from under the rubble of an apartment building.
