There is no need for mobilization of women in Ukraine - Deputy Defense Minister

The Armed Forces of Ukraine currently do not need forced mobilization of women, said Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine Anna Malyar.

"Since February 24, no women have been forcibly mobilized, as in fact they have not been mobilized since 2014... There are no restrictions related to mobilization for women to cross the border, and as of now such restrictions are not planned," Malyar wrote on Facebook.

According to her, the information about the mobilization of women in Ukraine is unreliable and was launched in the Russian media space, but was subsequently picked up in Ukraine. Malyar urged not to speculate on this topic during the war.
