General Staff cancelled the document regulating the order of movement of military recruits within Ukraine, it will be finalized - Zaluzhny

At a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it was decided to cancel the procedure for allowing Ukrainian citizens who are on the military register in the territorial centers of recruitment and social support to leave their place of residence (place of stay) from the moment of the announcement of mobilization and in wartime.

"The Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in order to prevent further manipulation around this issue has decided to cancel the Order and send it for revision," said the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny in the telegram channel.

He noted that initially the document concerned exclusively the internal work of the TCC and the JV and did not create obligations, restrictions on the rights and freedoms of citizens of Ukraine. Despite this, its appearance in the network led to numerous manipulations, different interpretations and even illegal actions to prevent the movement of citizens, which became the basis for discrediting the AFU and the military and political leadership of the state.

"The updated document will be developed on the basis of amendments to the laws of Ukraine and bylaws regulating the movement of citizens under martial law. The existing legal framework does not take into account today's realities and does not provide effective mobilization mechanisms," Zaluzhnyy stressed.
