The Chief Rabbi of Moscow has left Russia

Chief Rabbi of Moscow Pinchas Goldschmidt refused to support the war against Ukraine and finally left Russia.

This was announced by Ukraine's Chief Rabbi Moshe Reuven Azman on Facebook.

Yesterday, Goldschmidt was officially fired from all the positions he held for about 30 years, including, the chief rabbi of Moscow, head of the rabbinical court, etc.

It was previously reported that Goldschmidt was forced to leave Russia because he refused to support the war in Ukraine. He then went to Hungary, where he helped Ukrainian refugees, and then went to Israel.

Recall that Patriarch Kirill, head of the Moscow church, supported the "military special operation" in Ukraine.
