In the Luhansk region the occupants unsuccessfully stormed eight directions - Gaidai

In Luhansk Region, the Russian occupants unsuccessfully stormed eight areas at once - under pressure from the AFU, they retreated everywhere. Fighting continues in three more areas. This was reported in Telegram by the head of the Luhansk RMA Serhiy Gaidai.

"Unsuccessfully stormed in eight directions at once - under the pressure of the AFU everywhere retreated. In three more areas the fighting is still going on," Gaidai said.

According to him, last night alone the enemy fired 12 missiles, 16 shells from barrel artillery and two more from rocket artillery. Also yesterday, the Russians used aviation near eight settlements located on the border of the regions.

"More than a month has passed since the capture of Lysychansk - during this time the Russians were able to advance a maximum of 10 kilometers in the most successful direction," Gaidai noted.

He added that a significant part of these territories are the outskirts of Lysychansk itself and the surrounding villages.

"Two or three times a week the occupants try to move forward in the Verkhnekamenskoye area, once again yesterday. And again were forced to retreat with losses. In other areas where the enemy attempted to break through our defenses, progress over the past month is even less tangible. Despite constant intensive use of artillery in these areas, the enemy has not been able to form a sufficiently combat-ready group of troops to ensure a massive offensive," says Gaidai.

In addition, Russians are offered jobs in the occupied territories. It is not known whether they will be paid for it, but there are no safe conditions there.

"They report daily on the demining of occupied towns, primarily critical infrastructure and houses. And what do we see in reality? Multistory buildings where unexploded shells have been found are simply fenced off with signal tapes. Ostensibly, they surveyed the areas around the power lines. But yesterday we were informed about two power engineering specialists killed and one wounded as a result of a car explosion in Smolyaninovo, where there were practically no hostilities and where Russians had been staying since March," said Gaidai.

In particular, the RMA head said that 83 substations and four overhead lines in Rubizhne, 47 TS and one overhead line in Lisichansk, 89 TS and two overhead lines in Severodonetsk, including the one near where the electricians died, were "inspected and cleared."

"People need to be very careful. Demining in the occupied territories is almost non-existent," Gaidai wrote.
