The McDonald's chain will resume work in Ukraine, but not everywhere. The company has officially announced the gradual opening of a chain of restaurants in Kyiv and some areas in the west of the country. The process may take several months.
In the near future, the company will begin supplying products and preparing the establishments for opening.
"After lengthy consultations and discussions with Ukrainian officials, suppliers and security specialists, and with the request of our employees to return to work, we have decided to introduce a phased plan to reopen some restaurants in Kyiv and in western Ukraine, where other businesses have safely reopened." , - stated in the company.
In McDonald's specified that in the nearest several months the network together with partners will carry out the following tasks:
- restoring food supply chains to restaurants;
- Preparation of restaurants to serve customers;
- getting the restaurant team and employees back into the work environment;
- Implementing enhanced employee and customer safety procedures and protocols.
Information about the upcoming opening of McDonald's in Ukraine was confirmed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Kuleba, Agrotrend reported.
