The Netherlands joined the countries that train the Ukrainian military

The Netherlands has joined the British-led training program for the Ukrainian military.

This was announced by Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov on Twitter.

"The Netherlands joined the British-led training program for the Ukrainian army. Dutch personnel will begin their mission in August this year. The more well-trained fighters we have, the closer our victory will be. Thank you, Kaisa Allongren (Dutch defense minister), for your friendship and support," Reznikov wrote.

British Defense Minister Ben Wallace said Thursday following a donor conference in Copenhagen that London was ready to provide training for more Ukrainian soldiers than previously planned.

We will remind, the program of training of the Ukrainian military on the British territory Volodymyr Zelensky offered British Prime Minister Boris Johnson during his visit to Kiev in June. Then the British prime minister specified that the UK military could provide training for up to 10,000 Ukrainian servicemen every 120 days.

Finland, Sweden, Canada, Denmark and Norway have also announced participation in the training of the Ukrainian military.
