Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to do with Ukraine what he did with Crimea. This opinion was expressed by Prime Minister of Great Britain Boris Johnson during the Crimean Platform summit.
According to Johnson, the Russian leader wants to annex the entire territory of Ukraine.
"Putin, we see, is planning an attack on new parts of Ukraine. He wants all of Ukraine. He wants to do the same to it as he did to Crimea. He is preparing annexation. He is preparing more fake referendums," the prime minister said.
Johnson noted that it is important to unite and not allow state borders to be changed by force of arms.
"We will never recognize the Russian annexation of Crimea or any other part of Ukrainian territory. In the face of Putin's attack, we must continue to provide our Ukrainian friends with all the military support, humanitarian, economic, diplomatic assistance they need until Russia ends this terrible war and will not withdraw its forces from the entire territory of Ukraine," Johnson added.
