"Grain Corridor": six more ships left the ports of Odesa region

Today, six more ships with Ukrainian agricultural products left the ports of Odesa region. Among them is the KATERIA vessel, which will deliver 37.5 thousand tons of wheat to Yemen. The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine announced this on Facebook.

 

 "Today, 6 ships left the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Pivdenny. Among them is the KATERIA ship, chartered by the UN World Food Program to help the population of Yemen," the message reads.

 

 A total of 183,000 tons of Ukrainian agricultural products are on board six vessels (SEAJOY, LADY ZEHMA, SAFFET AGA, SIMAS, MICHALLIS and KATERIA).

 

 37.5 thousand tons of wheat are on board the bulker KATERIA for Yemen, where there is a humanitarian disaster. There, according to the UN, 16 million people suffer from hunger.

 

 During the operation of the "grain corridor" 61 ships have already departed from Ukrainian ports. About 1.5 million tons of agricultural products are on board.
