The EU will support Ukraine, despite any blackmail from Russia - Borrell

The European Union will continue to support Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression as long as necessary. This was stated by the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, during a press conference after the meeting of the Ukraine-EU Association Council in Brussels.

"The main message of today's meeting to the whole world is that the EU will continue to support Ukraine, despite any threats and blackmail from Russia. I have said this many times: you don't need applause, you don't need good words, you need concrete support and weapons. And we provide it," Borrell said.

He stated the need to withdraw the Russian military from the entire territory of Ukraine, including the occupied territories.

"We will provide political, financial, humanitarian and military support as much as necessary. Our goal is to help Ukraine win the war. We want this war to end, but not in any way, but in accordance with the norms of territorial integrity of Ukraine," he said.
