Kazakhstan is talking with Ukraine about changing the ambassador and summoned the Russian ambassador because of Zakharova's statements

The Russian ambassador was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan due to the statements of press secretary Maria Zakharova, which are considered "dissonant with the nature of allied relations" in Almaty.

According to the Kazakhstan service "Radio Liberty", the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Aibek Smadiyarov told about this.

On October 4, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia expressed a protest over the non-expulsion of the Ukrainian ambassador to Kazakhstan, Petro Vrublevsky, who talked about the "murders of Russians". Zakharova said that the Russian Federation expects the deportation of "this odious nationalist." She called the Ukrainian diplomat a "Probander emissary".

Smadiyarov responded that Zakharova's statements "contradict the nature of relations between Kazakhstan and Russia as equal strategic partners." The speaker reported that the Russian ambassador to Kazakhstan will be summoned to the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on October 5. "The main issue is the statement of the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation and the demands of the Russian side regarding the ambassador of Ukraine," he said.

Smadiyarov separately emphasized that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan previously conveyed a "principled position regarding Mr. Vrublevsky's provocative behavior," and reported that Ukraine had received a "request to appoint a new ambassador" to replace Vrublevsky.

"Now the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has received a request for the appointment of a new ambassador. This request is under consideration. We have a full understanding with the Ukrainian side on this issue and all agreements have been fulfilled on both sides," Smadiyarov said.
