British Prime Minister Liz Truss declared her confidence in the victory of Ukraine in the war against Russia. She added that the peace agreement between the countries should not include land compromises. The Guardian writes about it.

 Speaking at the annual conference of the ruling Conservative Party of Great Britain in Birmingham, Truss said that the Ukrainian people are fighting not only for their own security, but also for the security of Britain and democracy around the world.

 Tras is convinced that the illegal annexation by the head of the Kremlin, Vladimir Putin, is the latest act by his company to undermine democracy and violate international law.

 "We must not give in to those who want to conclude an agreement that trades Ukrainian land. They offer to pay with the lives of Ukrainians for the illusion of peace. We will stand with our Ukrainian friends, no matter how long it takes. Ukraine can win. Ukraine must win. And Ukraine will win," said the British Prime Minister.
