All weapons stockpiles of partner countries should be opened to Ukraine - the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania

The armed forces of Ukraine can liberate their territories using weapons of NATO standards. Therefore, the allied states should open their reserves to help Ukraine. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Gabrielus Landsbergis, in an interview with Ukrinform.

"Lithuania has always at all possible levels defended the position that Ukraine needs "everything we have", without giving any arguments like "we just give Javelins and Stingers and maybe something else". It became clear that the Ukrainian army is capable, and , can, using weapons of NATO standards, successfully retake the occupied territories. Now we are at a point when the arguments that were used before are no longer relevant," he said.

Landsbergis noted that currently allied countries cannot explain their refusal to supply weapons by the fact that "they are too technologically complex to train and train the Ukrainian military" or that the weapons may be "lost" or "destroyed."

"I have already spoken about it several times and now I will repeat that all our reserves must be opened for the Ukrainian army," he added.

The minister also emphasized that currently there are platforms in various countries where Ukrainians undergo military training.

"If the debate is still going on somewhere, it's a shame, because the longer it drags on, the longer the war drags on," he added.
